Driving Directions
Texas Southern University is located just southeast of Downtown Houston.
Heading east on I-10:
Take 45 south. Follow the directions for I-45 south.
Heading west on I-10:
Take 59 south. Follow the directions for 59 south.
Heading north on 59:
Take 288 and the Southmore exit. Turn left on Southmore. Pass the Dowling and White Oak lights. Turn left at Ennis (the stop sign). Pass the Blodgett light. TSU is on the right.
Heading south on 59:
Take the I-45 south exit and change lanes to exit the freeway. Follow the directions for I-45 south.
Heading south on I-45:
Take the Scott St. exit. Turn right on Scott. Pass the McGowen, Elgin, and Holman lights. Turn right at Cleburne (Shipley's/Burger King). TSU is on the left.
Heading north on I-45:
Take the Scott St. exit. Turn left on Scott. Pass the McGowen, Elgin, and Holman lights. Turn right at Cleburne (Shipley's/Burger King). TSU is on the left.
Heading north on 288:
Take the Southmore exit. Turn right on Southmore. Pass the Dowling and White Oak lights. Turn left at Ennis (the stop sign). Pass the Blodgett light. TSU is on the right.
Parking permits can be obtained from the public safety office on the second floor of the General Services building, located at the corner of Blodgett and Tierwester.
